Hi there!

I’m Chris Jackson, and I am a tutor. I have a BA in Applied Mathematics and English from UC Berkeley – Go Bears! I take great pride in helping students achieve their goals. I have tutored students from Kindergarten through post-college, helping with homework, exam prep, and other learning strategies. I have also prepared students for math competitions (such as the Kangaroo Olympiad) and standardized tests (such as the GED). Please feel free to watch my sample tutorials.

I have experience working with different types of learners, and I customize my tutoring to fit each student’s learning style. I am excited to work with neurodiverse students, including gifted and twice-exceptional (2e) students. I offer curriculum differentiation and acceleration for gifted students. For 2e students, I understand the impact that processing speed and working memory can have on learning, focusing instead on building problem solving and reasoning skills.
